Fruits of their labour

Lindus Health – From one size fits all office to on-brand, on-time and on-point

"Motive totally embraced our company mission, vision, and culture in their designs - the ideas they came up with were absolutely spot on with maximum impact. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for creatives who actually understand what you're about as a company and can smash it out in record time." Rebecca Burdell – Head of Operations

Lindus Health is on a mission to revolutionise clinical trials through cutting-edge AI, tackling outdated processes with speed, precision and irreverence.

Motive were brought in to reimagine their pre-fitted London Bridge office—creating an environment that mirrors both their groundbreaking tech and their unconventional culture.

With limited brand assets – just a logo, name, gradient and core values – Motive tapped into Lindus’ most defining trait: their ability to laugh at themselves. Internal stories like a colleague tackling a child on ice or directors being pranked on company trips had been previously immortalised as meeting room names.

Motive’s task was to make Lindus’ ability to take a very serious medical mission, with their spoon full of sugar approach to culture, tangible within their workspace.

The initial vibrance of the 2nd floor pays homage to James Lind, who conducted the first clinical trial using citrus fruits to cure sailors of scurvy. Orange and lemon hues lead you down the hallway, with deep greens bookending the space, acting as the leaf at the tip of the fruit.

The focal piece of the welcome area is a hand-painted mural that propels you to the future, with Lindus’ mission presented centrally to the beams of light. A custom shelving unit showcasing internal awards for successful trials is the physical embodiment of the team’s dedication to patients.

The 2nd floor houses flexible working zones, while the 1st floor is all about connection, creativity and food. Here, the value ‘Make it Fun’ comes to life through a bespoke tyre swing shaped like the Lindus logo – a visual reminder that “innovation doesn’t happen in a boring environment.”

Motive also introduced a set of illustrated citrus characters, each representing a company value, dancing their way through the space via framed posters. These feature again in a playful mural of an orange and lemon high-fiving and passing tacos – honouring the team’s Slack ritual of showing appreciation through taco emojis.

Every feature—from the murals to the values painted on the walls to the tyre swing—was painted by hand, underscoring Lindus’ belief that people matter most, whether they’re part of the team or benefiting from their tech.

We need AI to advance. Outdated processes become highly functional, tired methods become rapid and streamlined and allow for previously unheard of advancements. But we also need character and humour and unrefined spontaneous fun. Lindus have perfected that balancing act and their new office is testament to that.
