Stranger things

Goldstone | Office branding that connects two worlds

222 Bishopsgate stands as a landmark in Broadgate, uniquely positioned between the City and Shoreditch. It’s a location meant to attract both corporate tenants and creative businesses. Goldstone wanted their newly refurbished building to appeal to both groups once it hit the market – a diverse mix of clients who wouldn’t typically share the same space.

This property needed more than just polished floors to resonate. It needed personality.

Motive collaborated closely with the landlord and fit-out team to set the right visual tone from the very first step through the door. Together, they crafted a reception experience that felt equal parts elevated and unexpected.

Where corporate meets creative

Every detail was considered: the colour palette, textures, scent, and artwork were all carefully chosen to set the stage for a new kind of mixed-use workplace.

To bring this vision to life, Motive commissioned typographic and street art legend Gary Stranger. His focal mural bridged the gap between corporate and creative beautifully, making a striking statement that captured both worlds.

The visual narrative didn’t stop there. It continued inside the elevators, carrying the sense of curiosity and thought all the way to each user’s destination. This wasn’t just a space to walk through – it was a space to feel.
